What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mainframe Application Coordinator position at Advantage Technical?
We are searching for an experienced Broadcom Workload Automation ESP analyst. The candidate should have multiple years’ experience working in an enterprise environment with ESP interacting with a verity of open systems (Windows & Linux) as well as IBM Mainframe. Candidates should be able to work within a large team environment and be capable of producing deliverables within tight time schedules.
Location: New Haven CT, hybrid (onsite 2-3 days a week)
Type: 12-month contract on w2
Overview
Coordinates mainframe application scheduling and code promotion for all systems (Prod, Test, Development) interacting with open systems and external vendors.
Responsibilities
- Plans and implements changes to the production, test and development schedule.
- Plans and implements production, test and development code promotions.
- Reviews recent batch runs for completeness and correctness, including file transfers; resolves leftover issues and arranges restart/reruns as needed.
- Collaborates with application programmers during pre-production development and maintenance of applications to plan for production schedules.

Education:
- BS or BA in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent combination of experience and training
- 3-5 years of IT experience in support of production control or equivalent combination of training and experience
Preferred:
- ITIL Foundation certificate desired
