What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handling Production Supervisor position at Advantage Technical?
Location: Romulus, MI.
*** Willingness to work ALL shifts, Holidays, Overtime as required. *** Must be able to work outside of traditional work hours.***
Requirements:
- High School diploma required.
- 1 years of previous supervision experience.
- Previous UAW/HVC supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge or ability to learn current systems (SAP/EWM).
- Ability to interpret data, evaluate actions, and reach logical conclusions independently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Have Continuous Improvement mind set.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to demand accountability from all employees.
- Supervisor is expected to work closely with Superintendent and Plant Manager.
- Supervising all operations: Inbound, outbound, and claims processing.
- Cover crews in supervisor's absence, Attend, facilitate, and submit proper documentation for crew meetings.
- Prepare/maintain work related records as needed, Schedule workforce (including overtime and vacation).
- Champion and lead continuous improvement initiatives toward best in class performance.
