Job Summary:
We are seeking a Contract Planner, Materials Management to ensure a seamless supply of raw materials for clinical manufacturing. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Material Management and focus on material planning, procurement, and inventory control using SAP. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and proficient in MRP, SAP, and advanced Excel functions.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Contract Planner, Materials Management to ensure a seamless supply of raw materials for clinical manufacturing. Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Manufacturing teams to develop and execute material plans for internal clinical manufacturing.
- Generate material forecasts as needed to ensure availability.
- Manage material planning and procurement based on manufacturing schedules and MRP principles.
- Maintain safety stock levels and replenishment strategies for production materials and consumables.
- Update and maintain SAP master data and execute SAP transactions related to materials management.
- Monitor SAP transactions and ensure accuracy in material planning activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. Candidates with a different degree must have strong, directly relevant supply chain experience.
- Experience:
- 1-3 years of strong, recent SAP experience (with a focus on MRP and materials management).
- Advanced Excel skills (including VLOOKUPs, IF formulas, and data analysis).
- Supply chain/logistics experience is required (Life Sciences/Biotech experience is a plus, but not required).
- 1-3 years of strong, recent SAP experience (with a focus on MRP and materials management).
- Warehouse experience is NOT a fit for this role.
Additional Notes:
- Hybrid Role: Must be able to work onsite in Cambridge 2-3 days per week.
- This is a 6-month contract to cover a leave of absence.
