Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Pay: UP to $29/HR
The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, performing routine and emergency maintenance on machinery, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Additionally, you'll assist with equipment installations and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on equipment.
- Assist with new equipment installations and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and inventory.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Provide backup for wastewater processes as needed.
- Lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights up to 30ft.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with PLCs and vacuum systems preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Attributes:
- Hands-on experience with PLC systems.
- Familiarity with vacuum systems.
