As a Product Development Technician, you'll support the Endoscopy R&D Division in developing, testing, and validating new equipment alongside engineers and R&D teams.
Responsibilities:
- Execute tasks to meet project goals.
- Contribute to design, testing, and process improvements.
- Build prototypes and develop test methods.
- Coordinate and conduct prototype/material testing with minimal guidance.
- Develop and update test methods.
- Manage procurement and qualification of test equipment.
- Document and report findings to the technical team.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to secure materials and services.
- Train peers on technical tasks and result interpretation.
- Ensure compliance with all quality standards.
Qualifications:
- AA Degree or equivalent experience with 6 years in a related field.
- Knowledge of systems software, Instron testing, vision systems, and smart scopes.
- Strong equipment validation and documentation experience.
- Mechanically inclined with protocol writing skills.
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
