Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed inspections of parts, materials, or products to ensure they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Use measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs for precise evaluations.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and quality documents to understand inspection criteria.
- Document inspection results, noting measurements, deviations, and non-conformities in reports or databases.
- Apply Lean principles to identify and eliminate waste in processes, improving efficiency and value for customers.
- Use end-to-end process thinking to address root causes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
- Previous experience in quality control, manufacturing, or a related environment is preferred.
- Must be proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and inspection standards.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot issues related to CMM equipment, measurement programs, and part quality.
