What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Lab Technician position at Advantage Technical?
Location: Little Rock, AR
Pay Rate: $25/HR
Schedule: Dupont Schedule- 12 hours shift- Onsite position
Duration: 7 months contract (could go longer)
What You'll Be Doing
As a Quality Lab Tech, you'll play a key role in ensuring top-notch standards are met. Here's a glimpse into your day-to-day:
* Prepare and perform composite analyses with accuracy and efficiency.
* Assist with shipping samples to customers and conducting various tests.
* Conduct chemical and physical testing using advanced instruments and physical methods.
* Keep production supervisors informed on sample analysis progress and results.
* Foster a positive, team-oriented environment while tackling individual and group tasks.
* Maintain a clean, organized lab space and ensure records are up-to-date.
* Perform quality control grabs every four hours (or as needed) and troubleshoot issues as they arise
What We're Looking For
* High school diploma or equivalent is required. Higher education or a secondary science degree is preferred.
* At least 6 months of industrial lab, manufacturing, or production experience is ideal.
* Strong verbal and written communication, computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite), and a knack for troubleshooting.
