Senior Vice President (SVP) of Engineering

Location: Preferred in Irving/DFW or Houston, TX; Regina, Canada; Chicago, IL; or Nashville, TN.

We are seeking a well-tenured leader who can develop a cohesive strategy, implement structure, and drive collaboration across departments. This role will play a critical role in shaping the future of the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 12 years in electrical engineering, with 5 years as a VP in power engineering. Experience in an OEM preferred.
- Skills: Expertise in power generation, transmission, and distribution.
- Strong knowledge of engineering laws, regulations, and compliance.
- Leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.
- M&A and sales experience
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Licensing: PE license preferred (multi-state a plus).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a unified engineering structure, ensuring consistency in pricing, services, and sales.
- Strengthen regional collaboration and leverage in-house expertise.
- Partner with sales to drive engineering projects and studies.
- Lead growth strategy and manage the engineering services budget.
- Maintain and enhance certifications, accreditations, and value propositions.
- Mentor engineering leaders and promote continuous improvement.
- Standardize processes, templates, and estimating tools.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices.
