System Engineer

Senior Systems Engineer - Operational Technology Systems

We are seeking an experienced engineer to support the implementation, configuration and maintenance of Aspen IP.21 Systems, including Life Cycle Management of the PIMS Architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation, configuration and maintenance of Aspen IP.21 Systems
• Provide end-user support, including basic IP.21 user training, development of reports, and data access to relevant systems
• Modify the ASPEN IP.21 configuration, including addition of new tags and modification of existing tags
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including design specifications and project reports
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Ensure that all projects meet regulatory requirements, best practices, and industry standards
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve engineering processes and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• At least 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of PIMS (Process Information Management Systems) preferably Aspen IP.21
• Experience leading engineering projects and initiatives
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Process Controls experience is a plus
• Experience integrating PIMS systems with various other OT Systems (ex. Automation / Controls systems)
• Experience working with OPC communication is preferred
• Experience with SQL is preferred
