Desired Skills:
- Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and well-organized with the ability to simultaneously handle multiple files in various stages of completion
- Ability to prioritize while under pressure in order to meet deadlines in a constantly changing environment
- Must be able to work in web-based work environment and have reliable internet access
- Understands escrow standards, title clearance, real estate regulations and guidelines, and document preparation
- Comprehends pay-off per diems, tax prorations, interest, and understands lender documents and recordings
Responsibilities include:
- Directly communicate with clients, borrowers, real estate agents, attorneys, lenders, and banks throughout title process
- Work as part of customer-focused team ensuring timely delivery of documentation and information needed to facilitate closings
- Assist Closing Officers with the closing of real estate transactions, preparing files for closing, receiving and reviewing sales contracts, reviewing title commitments for requirements, as well as ordering documents, faxing, and invoicing
- Work to build strong partnerships with local lenders, realtors, and attorneys
- Follows company standards and practices when processing transactions, as well as applicable state laws and guidelines
- Assists with preparation and review of wires
- Returns all calls, voicemails, and emails in a timely manner
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
