Advantage xPO is hiring an experienced Electrician in Phoenix, AZ, for a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure. Our client serves mission-critical sectors including financial services, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, transportation, and education. If you have at least seven years of experience as an Electrician in a commercial setting, we'd love to hear from you!
Pay : $36.50 per hour
Schedule : 1st Shift, Monday - Friday | 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM
As an Electrician, you will troubleshoot, repair, install, and perform preventive maintenance on all electrical systems within a medical campus environment.
Responsibilities :
- Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs to ensure lighting systems are in working order
- Maintain and repair electrical switchgear, distribution equipment, and other electrical systems according to specifications
- Work on campus-wide systems such as emergency power, lighting controls, mass notification, and fire alarms
- Stay proficient in the electrical distribution system for each building on the campus
- Create and maintain single-line drawings and distribution maps for the electrical system
- Follow blueprints and specifications while complying with national and local electrical codes
- Maintain records of electrical maintenance activities and perform necessary tests
- Install wiring, switches, receptacles, and other electrical devices per national electrical codes
- Complete work orders and preventive maintenance paperwork efficiently
- Participate in weekly Tool Box safety meetings and demonstrate safety competency
