We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Supervisor to join our leadership team. This position plays a critical role in overseeing the delivery of skilled nursing and therapeutic services, ensuring the highest standard of patient care in accordance with physician orders and regulatory guidelines. The Clinical Supervisor supports the Clinical Director and helps lead the coordination, supervision, and professional development of nursing staff.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Supervise home health services in accordance with agency policies and physician orders.
- Participate in the development of standards and procedures for safe and effective patient care.
- Recruit, evaluate, orient, and, if necessary, discipline clinical staff.
- Assign and manage nursing personnel to optimize care delivery and ensure adequate staffing.
- Assist in developing and maintaining compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and state regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to field clinicians and foster interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Review medical records and ensure documentation is thorough and accurate.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education.
- Act as a liaison between staff, physicians, patients, and families.
- Serve as a resource and role model for professionalism, clinical excellence, and leadership.
- Assume the responsibilities of the Clinical Director during absences.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all aspects of care and supervision.
Qualifications
About You
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; current RN license in the state of practice required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience preferred, with at least 1 year in home health.
- Proven leadership ability and experience managing clinical teams.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and home health best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, use sound judgment, and lead by example.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to participate in physical activity, including moderate lifting.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform other physical tasks for extended periods.
- Flexibility to meet the demands of patient care and staff supervision.
