Job Title: Project Manager (Part-time), Facility Management
Location(s): Irvine - Onsite
Compensation: $45-65 per hour
Hours: 20 hours per week
About this position:
Advantech is seeking a skilled Project Manager (Facility Management) to oversee and coordinate all facility-related operations for our new building in Tustin. This role will be responsible for managing construction milestones, operational readiness, vendor coordination and long-term facilities to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the construction management of Advantech North America's (ANA) new headquarters, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Propose and implement system integration solutions for ANA’s new headquarters, including access control, energy management, and smart building technologies, leveraging both Advantech products and third-party solutions.
- Communicate project progress effectively with stakeholders, providing clear and timely reports to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, electricians, and other specialists to ensure smooth execution of facility-related projects.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and external vendors operating outside the General Contractor’s scope, ensuring seamless coordination and integration.
- Oversee warehouse automation implementation, including requirements gathering, permitting, scheduling, and execution.
- Assist with additional facility-related projects as assigned by management, ensuring the successful development and operational readiness of the Tustin campus.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, facility management, construction, or a related field.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and oversee complex facility projects.
- Experience in software and system integration, particularly in building automation, access control, and energy management.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and construction professionals.
- Exceptional organizational, time-management, and budgeting skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills, with the ability to navigate challenges and drive solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey project status and coordinate cross-functional efforts.

- Experience in IT system or technology solution integration
- Experience in cross-functional coordination and communication
