Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk (Temp to Hire)
Location(s): Milpitas, CA - Onsite
Compensation: $20 - $22 - Nonexempt (Hourly)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the packaging within the shipping system, daily component packaging, and filing customer customization orders within the delivery and packing system.
- Schedules orders and ensures accuracy of packaging products, including double boxing, and palletizing.
- Completes daily inbound receiving of product and packages and notifies recipients accordingly.
- Scans barcodes of shipping modules to the SAP system for recordkeeping.
- Coordinates and provides support with employees and/or other departments to resolve shipping and packaging issues and matters.
- Follow up, monitors, and ensures CTO files (Customization to Order project files) and SOPs (Standard Operation Procedures) are adhered to.
- Performs and completes any other tasks/projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of warehouse experience, preferably within the electronic module of high technology manufacturing industry sector.
- Minimum one (1) year of related warehouse experience within the consistent areas of material handling, shipping, and receiving, distribution, and/or operations.
- Good understanding of basic/fundamental warehouse shipping and receiving procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and work independently.
- Ability to perform within a changing workload and/or priorities and meet order schedules with quality results.
- Ability to collaborate and work well within a team environment, and willingness to motivate and support others.
- Ability to lift up to thirty (30) pounds.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience and skill in SAP system is preferred.
- Computer skills are preferred (i.e.: Microsoft Outlook).
