Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist Lead
Location(s): Milpitas, CA - Onsite
Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 - Exempt (Salaried)
About this position:
As a Supply Chain Specialist Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing end-to-end supply chain processes, including inventory management, production planning, and resource allocation. While this role does not include direct reports or formal management responsibilities, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations, address supply chain challenges, and drive continuous improvement. Your expertise in supply chain operations and SAP systems will be critical in achieving company objectives and delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain inventory, production, and allocation plans to achieve company objectives.
- Create and adjust schedules to meet customer service and inventory targets, ensuring optimal use of resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and address supply chain changes caused by new product launches, product revisions, demand fluctuations, customer expectations, promotions, and product discontinuations.
- Work proactively to mitigate risks and resolve supply chain challenges.
- Responsible for inventory planning, materials requirement planning (MRP), and work scheduling.
- Manage pricing control, statistical analysis, and database management.
- Arrange and oversee global transportation processes.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with sales, related departments, and customers.
- Perform and complete other tasks and/or projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s (B.A./B.S.) degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of related experience in supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with SAP system.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of supply chain operations, procurement, and/or management.
- Good knowledge and understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) systems.
- Knowledge and understanding of computer hardware and related components.
- Knowledge and understanding of database concepts.
- Strong analytical skills with competency for data analysis and creating analytical dashboards.
- Ability to manage and complete multiple projects with changing circumstances, workload, priorities, and deadlines, delivering quality results.
- Strong self-initiative, motivation, confidence, accuracy, and detail orientation; ability to work effectively as part of a team with a “can-do” attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including oral presentation skills.
- Strong team building and collaboration skills.
