Position Qualifications
- Must have a High School degree and 1 - 3 years of Navy/Logistics experience.
- Able to interface with Project Engineers, Technicians, Logisticians and Admin personnel.
- Able to support development, review, edit, and update to documentation.
- Able to provide US Navy modernization support including personnel tracking, system status, various schedules and reports.
- Process 1149s and tracking shipments for multiple customers across multiple locations
- Update the ‘Need to Ship’ schedule to reflect monthly shipping request for scheduled repairs and installations.
- Monitor the Frustrated Freight NAVSEA for material that has been ordered for ongoing scheduled Ship alterations. All Inventory Material to be inducted on a weekly basis.
- Daily update of Alteration Material Schedule
- Must maintain Courier Authorization Card for CLASSIFIED Material
- Create and update inventories for various ship classes as needed (DDG, CG, LCS)
- Must have strong computer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and data entry).
- Have a valid driver’s license with own transportation.
- Must be able to receive and maintain a security clearance.
- Must be punctual, attention to detail, meet quick deadlines.
- Must be able to work under minimal supervision, perform and complete tasks with limited guidance.
- Able to follow company policies and procedures.
- Able to write, speak and understand English and able to write clear, detailed reports
- Navy Logistics School
- Previous NAVSEA Logistics and/or Navy Admin experience.
- Must be able to travel if/when required.
