Job Summary:
This position is a supervisory role for assembly operations in Chandler, with direct reports of approximately 10 employees. The position reports to the Assembly Manager. The position will be responsible for monitoring and implementing the daily assembly production plan; training, coaching and developing assembly personnel; trouble-shooting assembly problems and defects; uphold company safety.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee the activities of assembly and fabricating operations within Assembly cell, provide direction to assemblers in areas such as; assembly, repair, and troubleshooting activities.
- Supervise direct reporting personnel within sections and provide supportive management to coach, develop, and motivate.
- Work with the Assembly Manager to develop monthly reports and track metrics to meet stated goals.
- Ensure timely completion of work orders and/or sales order shipment of product through planning, scheduling and assigning jobs to staff.
- Interface with departments outside the group to mutually resolve or prevent production delays.
- Identify critical material shortages or errors, expediting solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations on the production floor.
