What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Accountant position at Advantex Professional Services?
We are currently seeking a Junior Accountant with a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance. Our client is seeking Junior Accountant with 2-4 years of hands on general accounting experience.
Position will be hybrid and must be local to North OC/LA Area.
Responsibilities for the Junior Accountant:
- Responsible for handling the full cycle AP processing, including 2/3- way matching and purchase orders
- Handle the expense reports, processing payments and handling check runs
- Responsible for handling the accounts receivable functions, including invoicing/billing, maintaining aging and collections
- Vendor management, filing and various accounting duties as assigned
- Need to have a keen eye for detail, strong problem solver and eagerness to learn and grow
Requirements for the Junior Accountant:
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
- 2-4 years of hands on general accounting experience
- Must have strong Excel skills, including strong vlookup/pivot table experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Salary : $27 - $33
