What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at Advantex Professional Services?
We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant for a well-established manufacturing company located in Anaheim. This will be a temp to hire opportunity and will be working onsite.
Pay is $70,000 to $80,000 depending on experience
Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:
- Monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
- Handle the monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist with the annual audits
- Prepare the balance sheet accounts
- Assist with the physical inventory
- Will be responsible for the sales and use taxes
- Generate the month-end close and year-end financial reports
Requirements for the Staff Accountant:
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of full cycle GL accounting experience
- Intermediate Excel skills (vlookup/pivot tables)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
