What are the responsibilities and job description for the Second Shift CNC Operator position at Advantic Building Group?

The CNC Machine Operator will prepare and operate the numerical-control machine, accurately and efficiently read setup instructions and specifications, and load control media containing program commands into control console of the machine.
Essential Functions:
- Determine the fixtures, attachments, and tools necessary to complete jobs according to specifications, and mount them to machine prior to beginning cutting.
- Oversee cutting process, make adjustments throughout each job, catch mistakes as they happen and take necessary measures to eliminate errors.
- Supervise machine conditions, ensure that machine has adequate dust collection during jobs and clear filters as needed.
- Inspect all finished product for accuracy and uniformity to ensure product quality and uphold company reputation.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure machine longevity, lubrication, cleaning, and tool replacement.
- All other duties as assigned.
- A High School Diploma or GED. If not in possession of either, six months to a year of related experience or training is required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three years of experience on 3 axis machines.
- Five axis experience is preferred.
