Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at UnityPoint Health - Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, IA.
Job Summary:
- Provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment
- Work closely with the radiology team to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatments
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
Responsibilities:
- Administer contrast media and other medications as prescribed by physicians
- Operate imaging equipment, including X-ray, CT, and MRI machines
- Analyze images to identify abnormalities and report findings to physicians
- Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and preferences
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as an IR Tech
- Associate degree or required certifications
- Current state license
- A valid State Issued Driver's License or State ID
