Job Description
- Provide respiratory therapy to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and pneumonia.
- Conduct diagnostic tests, such as arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and spirometry.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between shifts.
Instructions
As a Respiratory Therapist at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, you will be expected to:
- Work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift schedule.
- Provide compassionate and individualized care to patients with varying levels of respiratory function.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and caregivers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting.
- Associate degree or required certifications, such as RRT or CRT.
- Current state license and valid State Issued Driver's License or State ID.
