A travel Respiratory Therapist is needed for a 13-week contract at Medical City - Lewisville in Lewisville, TX. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care while working 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts, days.
Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing compassionate and expert care to patients requiring respiratory therapy. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and educating patients and their families on proper respiratory care techniques.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and other respiratory interventions as ordered by physicians
- Educate patients and their families on proper respiratory care techniques and disease management
- Conduct pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic procedures as required
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Associate degree or equivalent certifications
- Current state license
- Valid State Issued Driver's License or State ID
