A leading industrial equipment manufacturer seeks a Purchasing Agent to support production in Lenexa, KS. The main purpose is pulling parts, managing inventory, and assisting with shipping/receiving in a clean, climate-controlled shop.
Anticipated Pay/Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $19$21/hour (possible flexibility)
- Schedule: MF, 8:00 AM5:00 PM (flexible, e.g., 7:30 AM4:30 PM)
- Benefits, PTO
- Pull parts (2200 per project) for assembly techs using job orders, BOMs, and POs.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and bin locations for accuracy.
- Support shipping/receiving with UPS WorldShip and perform light admin tasks (10%).
- Communicate with engineering and production to address part shortages/delays.
- Use Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams) and potentially SAP for documentation.
- 13 years in warehouse, inventory, or parts management.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Comfort working 90% in a shop environment (clean, climate-controlled).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; UPS WorldShip or SAP experience a plus.
- Ability to pass drug and background screenings.
