W2 Contract | Certified Crane Operator | Topeka, KS
Anticipate 2 months of work, operating a Kobelco 1600 crawler on a bridge project.
- $42-$45/hour, based on experience
- Per Diem may be available to eligible candidates
- Anticipate 5x10s, Monday-Friday
- Requires NCCCO (LBC/LAT)
Role:
- Operate a crane to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment
- Safely load and unload materials from trucks or containers using the crane
- Inspect the crane before and after each shift to ensure it is in proper working condition
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the crane
- Communicate with team members to coordinate lifts and ensure efficient workflow
- Perform routine maintenance on the crane as needed
Required:
- NCCCO (LBC/LAT)
- 3 years experience operating crawler on job sites
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug/background
- OSHA 10 is a plus, not required
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $42.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
