What are the responsibilities and job description for the LTC Laundry Staff position at Advent Christian Village?
- Collect, sort, launder linens, residents’ clothing, and other items; label laundry as needed
- Operate washers & dryers safely and within manufacturer guidelines to clean and dry linens, clothing, and other items
- Apply laundry soap, bleach, and other fabric treatments as needed to remove soil, stains, and meet infection control guidelines
- Fold or place items on hangers; use carts to return items to residents’ rooms or other designated locations after laundering
- Follow all safety and infection control policies and practices of the facility
- Must be familiar with cleaning requirements for all types of fabrics and colors**
- Must work comfortably, quietly, and respectfully in long-term healthcare setting
- Prior experience in healthcare or long-term care facility a plus
**must meet minimum requirements to be considered a serious applicant
