Job Description:
- Over 10 years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 7 years focused on AWS cloud services.
- Lead the architecture and design of cloud-based solutions on AWS, ensuring they meet business requirements and are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and business teams to understand technical and business requirements, translating them into cloud architecture.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to a team of architects, engineers, and developers.
- Evaluate and recommend new AWS services, tools, and best practices to improve system architecture and performance.
- Design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions on AWS.
- Conduct proof of concepts (POCs) and ensure adherence to cloud best practices.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost.
- Perform architectural reviews and provide guidance on designing and deploying solutions using AWS technologies.
- Ensure cloud security and compliance, working closely with the security team to adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide troubleshooting support and resolve performance issues for AWS-based applications.
- Keep up to date with the latest AWS features, releases, and trends in cloud technologies.
- Expertise in core AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation, VPC, etc.).
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS).
- In-depth knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
- Strong understanding of cloud governance, cost management, and optimization.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional (preferred), or other relevant AWS certifications.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments is a plus.
- Experience in designing and managing microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with data engineering and big data tools on AWS (Redshift, Athena, Glue, etc.).
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages.
- Experience working with agile methodologies.
