Job Title: Senior Windows Administrator
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Location: Hybrid 3 days onsite (Woodlands TX, New Orleans LA, or Little Rock AR)
We re seeking a Senior Windows Administrator with enterprise-level experience and a passion for infrastructure automation. If you're skilled in scripting, Windows Server, and hybrid cloud environments, this role offers a long-term opportunity with room to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer Windows Server 2016 2022, AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, etc.
- Automate infrastructure using PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform.
- Handle patching, deployments, and system performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with Cloud, DevOps, and Security teams.
- Support hybrid environments (on-prem cloud: Azure or AWS).
- Document procedures and support root cause analysis.
Requirements:
- 7 years in enterprise Windows Server Administration
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform
- Deep knowledge of AD, GPOs, and infrastructure best practices
- Experience with VMware or Hyper-V
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., SCOM, SolarWinds)
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Preferred:
- Certifications (MCSA, MCSE, Azure Admin)
- CI/CD pipeline or DevOps environment experience
- Exposure to Git, Azure DevOps, and compliance monitoring
