211 Call Center Representative

Advent Talent Group is seeking a 211 Call Center Representative for our non-profit client in Minneapolis, MN. As a 211 Representative, you will respond to phone, text, and website inquiries, providing confidential information and referrals to statewide resources. This role is vital to ensuring individuals have access to critical resources to meet their basic needs.

Overview :

  • Location : Remote, Minneapolis, MN
  • Position Type : Contract to hire
  • Compensation : $24.50 / hr. Shift Differentials
  • Shift Available :  Tuesday – Saturday : 2 : 00 PM – 10 : 00 PM

Responsibilities :

  • Respond to incoming inquiries via phone, text, and website chat, providing accurate and timely information on a variety of services.
  • Use an internal resource database to assess needs and provide appropriate referrals to statewide services.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism while delivering customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Record and track interactions, ensuring proper documentation of all communication.
  • Adhere to privacy and confidentiality standards in handling sensitive information.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay up to date with resources and protocols.

    • Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in customer service, call center, sales support, or similar roles.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Must have access to reliable internet and be able to work remotely for the entirety of the project.
  • High accountability, initiative, and problem-solving ability.
  • Multi-lingual skills are a plus; experience in non-profit sectors is desirable.
