Responsibilities:
· Set-up, operate, repair and optimize a range of production processes and machinery.
· Conduct in-process PM and quality checks as outlined to ensure defect free production with a minimum of interruptions.
· Troubleshoot equipment in order to efficiently produce parts that meet all quality standards.
· Communicate effectively across shifts to ensure work centers operate at peak efficiency and all problems are identified and corrected.
· Identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities and develop strategies to implement in concert with our engineering team.
Job Requirements:
· Positive work ethic, curiosity and initiative coupled with a passion for new challenges.
· Excellent teamwork and communication skills
· Technologically inclined.
· Completion of an engineering or technology degree or diploma is considered an asset.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
· Able to work 12 hour rotating continental shifts
