Schedule: Full-time Weekend Nights (weekend night shift differentials included)

Shift: 7pm-7am. Saturday and Sunday at Lake Mary ED, Monday at Oviedo ED

The community we serve: AdventHealth Lake Mary ED and Oviedo ED

Your role: As a CT Technologist, you'll be responsible for imaging both neuro and body scans on patients from neonate to geriatric, following age-specific guidelines and protocols.

Your responsibilities will include:

Performing all exams using established protocols, educating patients, and properly screening them for any contrast allergies

Completing all exams in a timely manner, minimizing empty table time, and following through after completing the exam with communication and transportation of patients

Operating all equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, monitors, and medical equipment, adapting protocols as necessary

Practicing infection control standards, utilizing approved PPE and disinfectant agents, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace

You'll also review all images of all exams, repeating images as necessary for best possible results, and notify physicians of emergent findings according to established protocol

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

Completion of radiologic technology training and A.R.R.T. registration

Computed Tomography A.R.R.T.(CT) certification if required by facility

General radiographer state license as required by state if required by facility

BASIC Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred qualifications include two years of hospital-based clinical Radiology experience
