The role youll contribute :

GENERAL SUMMARY :

The Nail Technician provides treatments to customers of the Spa. The technician interacts with members and maintains a

friendly, open, and service oriented attitude while performing functions consistent with supporting the entire Wellness

Center and Spa team. She / he promotes the Spa membership, as well as, any marketing strategy as assigned. Actively

participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally

respectful to all.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : Sets up and breaks down work area at the start / end of each shift. Cleans and maintains equipment, tools and treatment areas dailyMaintains up to date industry knowledge and skillsRecommends retail product to clients and facilitates the sale of that product with the front desk staffLearns to use, operate, and understand products, tools, and equipment used at the SpaPromotes and provides spa services at events both on and off site, as neededProvides the highest level of customer services and professionalism in all contactsMay be required to apply artificial nail applicationPerforms other duties as assigned

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed :

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE STRONGLY PREFERRED : Up to date with industry standards and techniquesGuest service skillsAbility to multitaskCommunication skillsOrganizational skillsMust be able to read, write, speak, and have good comprehension of conversational English Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft OfficeEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : Two years as a nail technician in a licensed environmentLICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED : Basic Life Support - CPR Cert Nail Specialist
