CT Technologist II Job Description
As a CT Technologist II at AdventHealth Kissimmee, you will perform advanced imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners. You will work under general supervision and must have the ability to adapt protocols as necessary to ensure optimal patient care.
Your Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment safely and efficiently, minimizing radiation exposure to patients, families, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, exam results, and any additional notes or recommendations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advances in CT technology and imaging techniques.
Requirements
- Florida State License - General Radiographer
- ARRT – R certification
- BLS certification
- Prior experience as a CT technologist or radiology technician, preferably with GE CT scanners
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
