Shift: Days (7A - 4:30P) and Weekends (8A - 1P on call only)

Location: 50 Hospital Drive, Hendersonville, NC

The Role You’ll Contribute:

Technologist is responsible for performing echocardiography test/procedures in accordance with the American Society of Echocardiography standards.

• PerformM-Mode,TwoDimensional,DopplerandColorFlowDopplerEchocardiograms.
• AssisttheCardiologistintheinterpretationandreadingoftheEchocardiograms.
• Performadulttestingprocedures.
• Performvariousdutiestoendureoptimaldepartmentfunctioningandproperflowofinformationandserviceto physicians for timely test interpretation and patient treatment plans.
• Performworkinamannerthatreducestheriskoftransmissionofinfectiontopatients,selfandco-workers
  
  

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Completion of training by an accredited school for performing Cardiac Sonography.
• RegisteredCardiacSonographers(RCS)certificationthroughCardiovascularCredentialingInternational(CCI) OR Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) required.
• CurrentAmericanHeartAssociationBLScertificationrequired.
