The Role You’ll Contribute
Assures compliance with codes and standards for the department and hospital with regards to AHCA, TJC, NFPA, ADA, OSHA (life safety and emergency preparedness). Coordinates all aspects of Environment of Care Committee. Manages and coordinates all aspects of Safety Tours, Fire Drills, Disaster drills and other Emergency Drills. Hospital liaison and representative with all City, County, State and Federal Agencies. Develops, coordinates and presents all safety related orientation, education and training to staff.

The Role You’ll Contribute

The Value You’ll Bring To The Team
- Assures compliance with codes and standards for the department and hospital with regards to AHCA, (life safety), TJC (life safety, EOC and emergency preparedness), NFPA, ADA, OSHA and other applicable regulatory.
- Assures all required tests, inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs on safety related equipment and systems are properly performed on time. Assures deficiencies are risk assessed for ILSM and corrected according to Policy.
- Establishes and maintains all safety and regulatory related documentation.
- Coordinates all activities of and recommendations from outside consultants, vendors, surveyors and inspectors as they relate to safety and code compliance.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent with code compliance and regulatory
- 2 with AHCA and TJC
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings, construction documents, regulatory codes and standards
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrates the ability to interact with public and staff on all levels while possessing a positive attitude
- Ability to demonstrate excellent or organizational skills and with attention to detail
- Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State
