- Nights Shift times:
- 1pm to 1am
- 3pm to 3am
- 7pm to 7am
The role you’ll contribute: The Emergency Services Paramedic practices is primarily responsible for collaborating with the Charge Nurse and/or primary nurse to deliver expeditious patient care as assigned throughout the department.
The Value You’ll Bring To The Team
- Assists and coordinates the immediate off-load of patients arriving via EMS with the primary nurse and/or charge nurse.
- Participates in the assessment, evaluation and effectiveness of the plan of care on an ongoing basis.
- Monitors cardiac/telemetry status and vital functions of all patients.
- Recognize hemodynamic changes and lethal arrhythmias.
- Establishes and maintains patency of peripheral intravenous lines.
- Minimum qualifications :
- High school diploma or Associates of Science (AS) degree.
- Current active Florida Paramedic license.
- One year healthcare or field experience.
- Preferred qualifications:
- Associates of Science (AS) degree.
