This is a full-time, paid learning opportunity designed for technologists registered in X-ray, nuclear medicine, and /or radiation therapy to transition into a CT Technologist role. Earn full-time pay while dedicating 100% of your work hours to a structured 12-week training program. Learn through didactic instruction, cutting-edge simulations, and hands-on clinical training. Upon program completion and successful certification, transition into a CT Technologist role with higher pay and industry-recognized credentials (hours may differ from training schedule). The commun ity you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Tampa
Under the direction of the Radiologist and a Preceptor, performs CT radiologic procedures. Will require independent judgment and initiative to perform CT procedures and appropriate protocols for diagnosis; to include Interventional Radiology procedures with CT guidance. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. Technologist may still be required to assist in X-ray in addition to CT to meet department needs. Obtain ARRT(CT) credential within 12 months of starting this role and then transition to the appropriate CT Tech job description/role.
