The Role You’ll Contribute
The Research Analyst is responsible to understand, utilize and maintain both primary and secondary database systems; analyze and review all primary and secondary data and determine implications on business; retrieve and interpret data pulled from internal (QMF/HPM) and external (i.e. Truven, AHCA, etc.) healthcare databases; assist other team members, administration, operations, etc. with data requests. The Research Analyst provides relevant data to help drive CHN strategies and ROI’s. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

The Role You’ll Contribute

The Value You’ll Bring To The Team
- Gather data about consumers, patients, competitors, and market conditions
- Extract, verify, compile, analyze and format data from other healthcare industry databases and other sources for planning, decision making, evaluation and accountability purposes
- Monitor competitor activities, create competitor profiles, service line volumes, goals, and conduct competitor research as needed
- Prepare presentations of the data for use in communicating with team members, administration, and operations.
- Write and prepare narrative and statistical reports of findings and program updates including indicator reports; prepare charts, graphs and tables of research findings using spreadsheet software
- Present and communicate findings to administrative team in a formal presentation style
- Handle multiple/simultaneous projects through the effective management of time in order to meet strict deadlines required by management or external customers.
- Create graphs and presentations in a timely, effective and professional looking manner in order to support departmental and/or management requests
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Knowledge And Skills Preferred
- Proficiency in SPSS, SAS, Access, QlickView, SQL, etc.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics or related field
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience working in related field
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field
