The Role You’ll Contribute
Responsible for a continuum of services providing care to patients with neurological, swallowing, speech-language, cognitive, pragmatic, voice and other cognitive related disorders requiring intervention by a Speech-Language Pathologist through an interdisciplinary approach. Utilizes rehab process to promote and restore optimal health to well-being of the patient. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.

The Role You’ll Contribute

The Value You’ll Bring To The Team
- Evaluates patients referred to speech therapy by completing initial profile within time standards per department protocol.
- Applies appropriate diagnostic and prognostic tests including but not limited to dysphagia, aphasia, language, voice, speech, and cognitive deficits.
- Standardized testing will include special tests to determine level of disability and track outcomes over the patient care experience.
- Performs a variety of therapeutic interventions including but not limited to swallowing, voice, speech-language, and cognitive skills.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Master’s degree in speech-language therapy with a Certificate of Clinical Competence.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Current Speech Language Pathologist Certification with the State of Colorado.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association.
