Schedule: Mon - Fri 40 hours 8:30-5pm

Shift : Days

Location: AdventHealth Hendersonville 100 Hospital Drive Hendersonville NC 28792

The role you’ll contribute: Responsible for keeping the Surgical Services Department clean and organized. Transport patients to and from the OR. Take specimens to the laboratory, picks up x-rays, charts, etc.

The Value You’ll Bring To The Team

• Perform all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
• Monitor and stocks hats, masks and booties in staff lockers room and physician locker room, monitor, order and stock linen on the linen cart in the substerile area for the day.
• Keep Environmental Services closet organized and stocked with regular bags, red bags, paper products and cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Completes work assignments thoroughly and follows up on requests in an accurate, prompt and timely manner.
  
  

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• High School grad or equivalent is required
• Current BLS certification required
• Nurse Assistant current in the North Carolina Nurse Assistant Registry preferred
