The community you’ll be caring for: 301 MEMORIAL MEDICAL PKWY, Daytona Beach, 3211
The role you ’ll contribute :
Responsible for processing the patient paper medical record and converting it into an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) in a timely manner for the viewing of physicians, clinicians, and other designated health care employees for the treatment and care of the patient.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Performs near-time scanning of all active patient records on nursing floors.
- Retrieves discharged records from all units and departments of the hospital.
- Logs received records on the appropriate discharge log.
- Processes all loose documents in a timely manner.
- Notifies Health Information Management (HIM) Document Imaging (DI) Lead if supplies are needed or low in the DI storage room. Monitors, maintains, and re-stocks supply levels at the DI stations on the nursing floors.

Minimum qualifications :
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
Preferred qualifications:
- Vocational, Technical, or Undergraduate Education
