The community you’ll be caring for : AdventHealth DeLand - 701 W PLYMOUTH AVE, Deland, 32720
The role you’ll contribute:
Responsible for the continual observation, documentation and communication of all cardiac rhythm strip monitoring in designated units, as ordered by the patient’s physician.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Obtains, interprets, and documents cardiac monitoring data per standard, documenting per standard in the telemetry monitoring system.
- Documents changes in heart rhythms per policy.
- Communicates changes in patient’s rhythm pattern and follows escalation process as applicable.
- Assesses and maintains telemetry equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Enters all telemetry charges if applicable.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications :
- High school graduate or equivalent.
Preferred qualifications :
- One (1) year monitor tech experience preferred.
Medical terminology.
