Job Summary
The Regional Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) plays a crucial role in advancing the clinical strategy and fostering clinical effectiveness and patient safety across AdventHealth's regional network of hospitals, physician practices, ambulatory, and post-acute services.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to ensure effective care integration, including case management, care navigation, and clinical documentation integrity.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that define the scope of practice for patient care activities, ensuring compliance with current clinical standards.
- Work collaboratively with facility clinical leaders to deliver exceptional consumer experiences and promote consistency of clinical practice across the region.
- Articulate clinical strategy and align regional initiatives with the AdventHealth vision, promoting improved clinical outcomes through care redesign and clinical integration activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) and master's degree in a relevant field.
- Ten years' experience in nursing, with five years' experience in leadership roles in comparable healthcare settings.
- Current licensure with the State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse.
- National certification in Nursing Administration preferred.
