The role you’ll contribute:
Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, e.g., menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick up, special requests and needs, in-between meal food delivery.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Exhibits a friendly, caring attitude to patients when introducing the Nutritional Services’ program, taking menu selections, delivering trays, inquiring during catering rounds and retrieving trays
- Takes patient menu selections prior to each meal
- Complies with dietary restrictions on special, modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of diet order limitations
- Works with Nursing to ensure patients’ diet prescriptions are accurate and patients’ food needs are meet Prepares and delivers bulk nourishment to patient pantries
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUVATION AND EXPEREINCE REQUIRED
- High School graduate or equivalent Required
- 1 year plus of Food Service Industry Required
