Position Overview:
The Imaging Equipment Operator will be responsible for administering computed tomography examinations to patients and operating and maintaining imaging equipment according to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Administer computed tomography examinations to patients using radiologic technology equipment.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to safety protocols and manufacturer instructions.
- Assist patients with positioning and preparation for imaging procedures.
- Analyze images and identify areas requiring additional views or technical adjustments.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or Technical degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Completion of radiologic technology training and A.R.R.T. registration.
- Computed Tomography A.R.R.T.(CT) certification if required by facility.
- General radiographer state license as required by state if required by facility.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
