The role you’ll contribute:
Under the direction of the Gordon Physicians Group Associate VP/Physician Services, the Manager of Ambulatory Nursing is responsible for the overall direction and supervision of all "non-provider" clinical personnel and clinical education programs including responsibility for ensuring that programs meet regulatory requirements; completes short and long term planning; oversees, creates, monitors and delivers curriculum throughout the organization. Provides support for ongoing development and maintenance of standards for performance and clinical outcomes. The position requires travel throughout the region to multiple medical practices and ambulatory centers.

- Assesses employee, departmental, and organizational needs to ensure delivery of effective education, consultation and facilitation of learning that supports skill development, personal development, team building and continuing education within the scope of practice. * Performance Criteria:
- Creates education programs which reflect national standards for allied health professionals in an ambulatory/medical practice setting.
- Uses sound education practices to provide clinical and classroom education.
- Identifies leaders in each practice to serve as preceptors or site coordinators for education and development.
- Collaborates with leadership team to provide timely, relevant, and complete education and support to clinical areas.
- Provides comprehensive, timely, evidence based programming to ambulatory/medical practices either Adventist Health System owned or under a Provider Services Agreement. * Performance Criteria:
- Develops, reviews, and implements process and standards for clinical competencies.
- Develops a variety of training classes to meet specific needs.
- Develops and/or facilitates efficient evidence-based, best practice clinical work flow.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 years an ambulatory medical environment/clinic
- Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure with active Georgia license
- Basic Life Support
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's In Nursing, Business Administration, Public Health, or other similarly related field
- Previous nurse education/teaching
- Physician practice
