Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am – 12:00p, but 1 time a month 8:00am – 5:00pm

Location: Primarily 400 Timms Rd NE Calhoun GA 30701but travel to Chatsworth (106 Hospital Dr Suite 5 Chatsworth GA) location is part of the job
The role you’ll contribute:
Supervises, organizes and directs daily radiology department workflow. Monitors technologists work quality on an ongoing basis, recommending changes in work methods as needed. Is responsible for training new clinical radiology technologists and performing initial and annual competencies. Assisting practice managers with performance appraisals. Makes recommendations for staffing, including position changes and staffing level changes. Coordinates equipment service and maintenance. Maintains routine department inventory, and orders routine supplies. Assists department Director in development and application of departmental policies, procedures and planning. Responsible for compilation of department statistics and PI information. Maintains employee-training files. Performs radiographic imaging procedures as needed. Responsibility to adhere to the Gordon Hospital Corporate compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state, and Federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies.

- Assists practice managers and Director of Operations with the supervision of the rad techs and PACS Admin
- Daily check of the previous day’s charges
- Assist physicians as needed
- Assist patients as needed
- Assist the techs with patient care and ensure lunch breaks are taken daily
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Minimum of three years’ experience required. Supervisory experience helpful.Must have good working knowledge of department/hospital operations to monitor all areas of Radiology and make decisions as needed.
- Must be a registered Radiologic Technologist
- Associates Degree
- ARRT
- BLS
