The role you’ll contribute:
Provides routine designated tasks related to the efficient and cost-effective operation of the department. Is part of an interdisciplinary team assisting with patient care. Adheres to the Advent Health Corporate Compliance Plan, to the rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

- Provide inpatient and outpatient services necessary and consistent with the daily duties of an orthopedic practice.
- Complete patient intake and room to include but not limited to height, weight, patient history, etc.
- Responds to orders promptly per department guidelines.
- Supplies and promptly applies soft goods and off-the-shelf braces to patients as ordered by the Physicians and Advance Practice Providers or Scope of Practice.
- Assist with placing patients into traction and adjust traction equipment as ordered by the Physicians and Advance Practice Providers
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED
- BLS - Basic Life Support
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous orthopedic technician experience
- Registered Orthopedic Technologist Upon Hire
