The community you’ll be caring for:

The role you’ll contribute:
- Performs carotid duplex, arterial duplex, venous duplex, fistula duplex, renal artery duplex, aorta duplex.
- Records, processes, files and charges daily pertinent patient data relative to job duties.
- Administers vascular diagnostic procedures for adult, and geriatric patients.
- Assures responsibility for the safety, mental and physical comfort of patients while they are in the sonographers care.
- Performs general department responsibilities:
- Coordinates work schedule with Senior Vascular Sonographer to assure workload coverage.
- Maintains ultrasound equipment and work area. Reports any equipment failures, or supply needs to the Practice Manager.
- Performs diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations and uses independent judgment to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
- High School Graduate.
- BLS certification required.
- Computer proficiency required
- Active registry with ARDMS, RVT or CCI, RVS in Vascular required.
