The role you’ll contribute:
The Cardiac Cath Lab Manager practices as a professional in their respective field. Is responsible for the overall management and administration of the assigned care team units which includes hiring appropriate and adequate staff, planning, submitting annual budget, is accountable for operating within the approved budget. The Cardiac Cath Lab Manager is accountable for ensuring that quality care is given to each patient 24 hours a day. Must be able to function independently and efficiently as a member of the hospital leadership team.

- Overall responsibility for the management and administration of the assigned care units by providing qualified personnel and in a cost-effective environment to ensure the delivery of quality care.
- Administers and interprets personnel policies and procedures including wage and salary to each team member upon hire, 100% of the time.
- Recruits, interviews, selects and hires team members for the assigned units to maintain adequate coverage of each area.
- Ensures appropriate orientation of new personnel as evidenced by feedback from errands, staff and completion by errands of unit based competencies and check-off list.
- Assists with or counsels team members when necessary for disciplinary and/or exemplary actions in accordance with department and hospital policy as evidenced in the personnel file.
- Submits completed schedule in timely fashion to ensure appropriate department coverage.
- Assures that schedule provides at least 50% of coverage by regular team members when granting PDO requests.
- Monitors hours-worked on unit verifying tech time, overtime and workshops bimonthly per hospital policy.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in an acute care setting with demonstrated leadership abilities; appropriate decision making with a history of positive interpersonal relationships with hospital team members, patients and visitors.
- Current valid State registered nursing license.
- Radiologic Technologist.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist.
- Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist.
